For autistic adults, their families, carers and professionals
Our Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service is expanding to support autistic and/or ADHD adults across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight from 1 April 2026.
Delivered by Autism Hampshire, part of Avenues Group, and commissioned by NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board, the expanded service will provide timely, trusted support for adults aged 18 and over - whether or not they have a formal diagnosis.
It is designed to support:
autistic adults
ADHD adults
people who think they may be neurodivergent
people who are self-diagnosed or waiting for assessment
professionals looking for advice and guidance
By offering support without the need for a diagnosis, the service helps reduce barriers and ensures people can access support earlier.
Every day working in Information, Advice & Guidance is different, every individual, parent/carer or professional that comes to us has a different question or support need. At times my role can be very challenging but when someone tells you that the advice given has made a difference to their lives it is worth every minute. I am lucky that I work with a wonderful team of people and together our mission is to support people through any challenges that they are facing to enable them to embrace the autism spectrum within their lives.
