World Autism Awareness Week runs from the 27th March to the 2nd April this year and we need you to get involved.

Your involvement will change lives!

What’s it all about?

This week is about getting people to know more about and understand autism. Share your stories, tell people about how autism impacts your life and what they can do to help. Better understanding enables people with autism to better lead the lives they want to.

Social Media can be an incredible force for good and you can use it to share your stories. Autism Hampshire uses both

and twitter—@HampshireAutism  We will be tweeting this week and will use the hashtag #WAAW as often as we can.

Fundraise for Autism Hampshire and you will help us to continue to develop and provide the highest of quality services. Fundraising is a great way to raise money and awareness and can be great fun.

World Autism Awareness Week culminates on April 2nd with World Autism Awareness Day. On this day we have a number of brave people abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower for Autism Hampshire.

Fundraising isn’t restricted to World Autism Awareness Week and we have events that you can get involved with throughout the year. The best place to keep up to date with this information is on our events page.

Equally you can get in touch with our friendly fundraising team to talk through your own fundraising ideas or to ask any questions that you have  - 01489 880 881 or email

Give your time or your money to Autism Hampshire as we will put both to good use.

Volunteering for us is fun, rewarding and a great opportunity to meet new people, be more involved with your community and make a real difference. You can also develop your existing skills and gain new ones. Volunteering is also a great way of enhancing your CV and we can even provide a reference to a future employer.

To volunteer for Autism Hampshire please email and we will send you out an application form.

Financial support is hugely beneficial to our autism community as this allows us to develop our services. Autism Hampshire’s Community Access Service is the only autism specific service of its kind in the whole of Hampshire.

It offers life changing Information, Advice and Guidance on issues such as housing and education to the autism community. This service isn’t fully funded by local councils so we rely on our supporters to help.

Please give what you can. Every donation is valued. You can donate here.
