Hampshire Hackers Golf Society held their charity day at Hamptworth Golf & Country Club in September 2017.

This year they chose to support Breast Cancer Haven, based in Titchfield, and us, Autism Hampshire.

Jamie Pratt, who works for Autism Hampshire and is on the autism spectrum, attended the event and delivered an educational speach to the players and supporters. The whole event was a hugh success and the Hackers smahed their fundraising target of £4,000 raising over £7,200 for their two local, good causes.

Yesterday Kevin Dye (pictured above left), 2018 Club Captain, came into Autism Hampshire and presented a cheque to the charity for £3790. Fundraising Manage Sam Perry (pictured above right) was on hand to accept the cheque.

"Thank you to Kevin and all of the Hampshire Hackers for raising such a fantastic sum." said Sam, "With your support we are able to enhance choices and provide high quality services to meet the diverse needs of people on the autism spectrum."

Hampshire Hackers Golf Society has been in existance since 2003 and in that time has raised a staggering £74,500 + Gift Aid for local good causes.
