Today we were delighted to welcome Nicole and the Fouch family to the Autism Hampshire Head Office in Whiteley.
Nicole and her family came in to hand over a cheque for £400 which Nicole raised by having a whopping 14 inches cut from her hair.

Nicole, 7 years old (pictured above handing her cheque over to our Fundraising Manager Sam), was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome in December 2015. Due to her Asperger's Nicole finds certain everyday tasks, such as having her hair cut, more challenging than some others do.

With help from her family, Nicole decided to brave having her hair cut and mark the occasion by raising money for charity. Nicole had her hair cut at Kuts and Beauty 2 and chose to raise money for Autism Hampshire and the south's branch of the National Autistic Society. Nicole also decided to donate her cut hair to the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who have lost hair due to cancer treatment.

Mum Rebbeca, a lab technician for Hovis, said of Autism Hampshire and the National Autistic Society "They have helped us out so much and Nicole just wanted to say thank you".

Well we at Autism Hampshire we want to say a huge thank you to Nicole and her family for being so brilliant. The money raised will help us to support more families through our Community Access Service
